Nikki Francis

Technical Assistant

Nikki is part of the Field Ecology Team and assists with most aspects of our surveys. She started as a volunteer with TERN in 2018 after completing her degree, Bachelor of Science (Biodiversity and Conservation) at Flinders University. Nikki has spent time in South Australia, South Africa and Fiji undertaking ecological surveys, including vegetation assessments, bird surveys and banding, as well as observing and researching the pollination of native plant species in Fiji. She has a keen interest in ornithology and herpetology and you will usually find her wandering around the campsite before breakfast with binoculars in hand.
